A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed during the build along with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Dana 36 third member with a limited-slip differential. The car has been refinished in black and is further equipped with a removable hardtop, an aluminum radiator, a Hurst shifter, an aftermarket air conditioning system, a Custom Autosound stereo, power windows, AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, and 17″ American Racing Salt Flat wheels.
The fiberglass body was refinished in black along with the body-color removable hardtop. Details include chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and quad headlights and taillights.
The car rides on a custom Newman Car Creations chassis fitted with C4 Corvette-specification aluminum suspension components, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. American Racing Salt Flat wheels measure 17″ in diameter and are mounted with 225/45 and 235/45 Toyo tires.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer along with an AutoMeter tachometer flanked by matching gauges for fuel level, water temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch as well as a C4-style Dana 36 rear end with a Positraction limited-slip differential.
